Medicare is usually offered once a person arrives at the age of 65- or younger if that person is on disability. It's the federal health insurance program that is broken up into several parts and has many different rules and regulations that one must be aware of. There are 4 basic parts:
Part A: Hospital Insurance - covers inpatient hospital stays, care in a skilled nursing facility, hospice care, and some home health care.
Part B: Medical Insurance - covers certain doctors' services, outpatient care, medical supplies, and preventive services.
Part C: Medicare Advantage Plans - Part A and Part B are offered through private companies that contract with Medicare.
Part D: Prescription Drug Coverage
There are also supplemental plans available to accentuate the Medicare program and is offered to most people that have Medicare parts A and B. If you are exploring what that would look like for you, or you already have Medicare and you want to have a better understanding of your benefits - FLiP Creative Consulting can connect you with an expert that will take the time and make sure you have the best coverage available - and you understand how it works. It's time to make a move. #MoveToFLiP
